After last year success, and the previous one, ARCOlisboa reviews its strategy and broadens the number of participating galleries, either in the usual program, either in the parallel cycles such as Opening, this year curated by João Laia again.

Umbigo highlights the shows in Torreão Poente, at Cordoaria, which will host new contents dedicated exclusively to individual projects by several artists; the side programs focusing on the discussion of what artists are currently developing, in a series of conversations coordinated by Filipa Oliveira; and the inclusion of new galleries like Uma Lulik_ and Balcony that will expand the Portuguese participation in this art fair.

We also underline the installation of an ephemeral pavilion developed by the architecture studio Atelier JQTS, which will create new spaces for gatherings and informal encounters.

From 17 to 20 May, ARCOlisboa, at Cordoaria Nacional, Lisbon. Umbigo will present with a booth and will follow the latest developments.
