Fundação PLMJ is one of those rare institutions in Portugal that has been creating a contemporary art collection with a clear and thoughtful curatorial gaze. Furthermore, this is a foundation that has been promoting art and philanthropy, while showing its artworks Portuguese artists acquired throughout these past decades.

The conference Colecionismo público e privado de arte contemporânea [Public and private contemporary art collectionism] is a new investment in this context, reaching, at the same, other institutions and names with the same affinities.
