With the aim of supporting the artists in a rather difficult moment for the performing arts, RExFORM – International Performance Project 2020 is gathering BoCA and maat for a 12.000 € grant.

In this first edition, the competition is exclusively destined to Portuguese artists with less than 35 years old, having as a common ground one of the most interesting and generous projects that arose during the lockdown period – Portugal #EntraemCena. Following the values of the Market place, Portugal #EntraemCena was conceived with the purpose of uniting efforts and grants from the several areas of society to help the cultural fields which since then has been suffering great losses and damages.

The jury is composed by Beatrice Leanza (maat), John Romão (BoCA), Catherine Wood (Tate Modern) and Chloé Siganos (Centre Pompidou) and all applications must be submitted until 19 July at the Portugal #EntraemCena digital platform. The jury will benefit the projects with an interdisciplinary basis, merging the visual arts, the choreography, the theatre or the new media. The winner will be announced on 10 August, with the afford mentioned 12.000 € destined to the investigation and production of the project.
