Goethe-Institut, documenta archiv |documenta und Museum Fridericianum gGmbH, and Kunsthochschule Kassel art school announced an international open call for two fellowships destined for scholars, artists and curators from June 2023 to November 2023.

This is a transdisciplinary fellowship within the fields of aesthetics, art, contemporary history and documenta’s archive, with the possibility of dealing, in 6 months and a monthly allowance of 2000 euros, with a vast archive and investigate collaborations, artistic and curatorial practices, mechanisms of production, etc. – all through the critical scope of the Western canon.

Applications and investigations, however, that have received little or no representation inside these territories will be prioritized, as well as those who have dealt with archives in the past and know the German language.

The application deadline is March 24, 2023, and these shall be submitted via Goethe-Institut’s portal, which will open on March 1, 2023.
