Carlos Mensil (1988) lives and works in Porto.
In his practice has sought to expand the fields of drawing and sculpture, producing images and installations that explore the manipulation of form and matter in relation to mechanics, movement and light. In this territory of conceptual questioning, he intersects artistic creation with other areas of scientific and social knowledge.
In 2024, he was a finalist for the FLAD Drawing Award and the Norberto Fernandes Award - Art and Technology, from the Altice Foundation.

He is a co-founding member of the independent collective Campanice, in Porto.
