From 7 to 10 November, Lisbon will host the 6th edition of Lisbon Art Weekend, a landmark cultural event that brings together over 200 artists in more than 30 venues for four days of immersive contemporary art experiences.

In 2024, the initiative will become the largest ever, bringing together a variety of art spaces across the Portuguese capital, such as galleries, artist-run spaces, private art collections, public projects dedicated to the arts and museums – including, for the first time, the Gulbenkian Modern Art Centre, MAAT and MAC/CCB, some of the city’s main cultural institutions.

During this weekend, residents and visitors from all corners of Europe and the world will be able to explore Lisbon’s streets and landscapes through an artistic lens, ‘witnessing the creative energy that makes Lisbon a flourishing centre of contemporary culture’.

Venues, artists, curators and collectors converge for a vast and free programme of more than 70 events, including guided tours by renowned artists, talks with agents of the medium, workshops for families and performances.

For more information on the full programme, see the Lisbon Art Weekend website.
