The 15th edition of doclisboa has already started, a festival dedicated to documental and experimental cinema, featuring 231 films from different countries, eleven of them coming from Portugal.

Aside this long program, we highlight the retrospectives from the American cinema of Québec – a number of rather exquisite works balancing from the documental to the performative, in a partnership with Cinemateca Portuguesa – and the Czech director Věra Chytilova known for her peculiar and attentive side of human gestures.

Also unmissable, the exhibition My Little Loves, by Sharon Lockhart, at the Museu Coleção Berardo, curated by Pedro Lapa. The show tries to work the hybridization that came after films were transferred from the theatre to the museum and how film became an important expression in contemporary art.
