Regarding the exhibition LUZAZUL by Miguel Soares, the Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado organized a thorough program of public service divided between masterclasses lectured by the artist, conferences and talks surrounding the great themes of the exhibition: robotization, Artificial Intelligence and science fiction….

Regarding the exhibition LUZAZUL by Miguel Soares, the Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado organized a thorough program of public service divided between masterclasses lectured by the artist, conferences and talks surrounding the great themes of the exhibition: robotization, Artificial Intelligence and science fiction.

One of three masterclasses have already been lectured, in Porto, remaining one to be lectured on 7 December, 11am, in Coimbra, at the Colégio das Artes and moderated by Prof. Doctor Pedro Pousada, and one last masterclass which will take place in Faculdade de Ciências Humana e Sociais da Universiade do Algarve, on 7 February, with the moderation of Prof. Doctor Pedro Cabral Santo.

The conference will have the duration of one entire day, with the title of YOU, I AND THE ROBOT – Artificial Intelligence and the 3rd age of man. The artist, the curator Adelaide Ginga and Prof. Bernhard Serexhe, as many others, will be present. Date and place to disclose.

Finally, the talks will happen on 13 December, at 6:30 pm, in the polyvalent room of MNAC, with Prof. Doctor Rogério Miguel Puga and Prof. Doctor Emília Ferreira about Mary Shelley and her monsters; on 16 January, same place, same time, with Prof. Doctor Teresa Botelho with the theme “I’m also a person”: the Imagination of Conscience and Identity in Fictions of Embodied Artificial Intelligence; and on 13 February, time and place to disclose, at the Reitoria da Universidade do Porto, a round table with the moderation of Prof. Doctor Fátima Vieira.
