Umbigo and the Fine-Arts Faculty of the University of Lisbon have collaborated on a special edition of 450 supplements, conceived by the students of the academic course Transverse Means of Painting under the supervision of Professor Nuno Sousa Vieira.

The magazine´s theme serves as a starting point for this project of experimentation, challenging students to work around several modes of perception and fruition of artworks, translating multiple spatialities between media and assuming the risks inherent to this multiplication.

Given the exclusivity of the collaboration, only the subscribers, patrons, supporters, and readers who bought the magazine at special events like launches will find one of the works developed by the chosen students.

Included in this number are the works of Alice Apolónia, Ana Maria, André Rodrigues, Carolina Pederneira, José Miguel Paes, Miguel Silva, Sara Félix, Sara Sepúlveda, and Zé Dias.
