Carlos Mensil’s exhibition A Grande Dança is on view at Fórum Arte Braga until April 24. Curated by João Terras, the exhibition features new works alongside pieces reimagined for this context, taking its title from a phrase by Italian physicist Carlo Rovelli. Through various mechanisms in constant motion or processes of activation/deactivation, in which light plays a central role, Mensil’s work seems to focus, above all, on this clinical and precise intervention on matter, which returns sensory oscillations to us.
